In short:<\/strong> a leaking tank is almost never a faulty device. It is usually a worn seal, a coil that was not seated properly, an overfilled tank, or an e-liquid too thin for the coil. Work through the six causes below in order \u2014 the first one you find is normally the culprit.<\/p>\n

First, tell a leak from condensation<\/h2>\n

A few drops of liquid in the airflow or around the drip tip after a session is condensation<\/strong>, not a leak. Vapour cools and collects there on every device. Wipe it with a tissue and carry on.<\/p>\n

You have a real leak when liquid pools under<\/em> the tank, runs down the battery, soaks the pod slot, or the tank visibly empties while the device sits unused.<\/p>\n

1. Worn or missing O-rings<\/h2>\n

The rubber seals are the single most common cause. They harden, flatten and split with heat and time, and once one has, no amount of tightening helps.<\/p>\n

Strip the tank down and look at every ring against a bright light. A ring that is cracked, stretched, or sitting out of its groove needs replacing \u2014 most tanks ship with a spare set in the box. If yours did not, bring the tank to the branch and we will match it.<\/p>\n

2. The coil is not seated squarely<\/h2>\n

A coil screwed in at a slight angle, or not pushed fully home in a pod, leaves a gap the liquid runs straight through. Take it out and refit it: it should go in without force and sit flush.<\/p>\n

Using the wrong coil for the tank causes the same thing \u2014 the threads may catch but the seal never closes. Match the coil to your device from the pods and coils section<\/a>, or send us the device name on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right one.<\/p>\n

3. Overfilling<\/h2>\n

Every tank has a maximum line, and it is there because the space above the liquid is what holds it in. Fill past it and the tank has no air buffer to work against.<\/p>\n

Two habits fix this for good: stop at the line<\/strong>, and tilt the tank and pour down the inside wall<\/strong> rather than straight down the middle. Liquid down the centre goes into the airflow chimney, and from there it goes out of the bottom.<\/p>\n

4. The e-liquid is too thin for the coil<\/h2>\n

This is the cause people miss most often, and it is worth understanding rather than guessing at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Put a thin salt nic in a big sub-ohm coil and it runs straight through the oversized wicking holes. The device is fine; the pairing is wrong.<\/p>\n

5. A blocked or dirty airflow<\/h2>\n

Residue builds up in the airflow channel and around the base, and once it does the seal no longer closes cleanly.<\/p>\n

Rinse the empty tank in warm water, let every part dry completely \u2014 several hours, not minutes \u2014 and reassemble. Never reassemble a damp tank; trapped water thins the liquid and causes exactly the leak you are trying to stop.<\/p>\n

6. Heat, pressure and how you store it<\/h2>\n

Warm liquid is thinner liquid. A device left on a car dashboard in a Kuwait summer will leak when a device kept indoors does not.<\/p>\n
