Where to start<\/h2>\n

If you have just stopped smoking:<\/strong> start with a plain classic tobacco<\/strong>. It is the least sweet and the closest thing to what you are used to. Many people find it too plain after a few weeks and move to RY4 \u2014 that progression is normal, and it is a good sign.<\/p>\n

If you smoked menthols:<\/strong> go straight to tobacco with mint. Plain tobacco alone will feel like it is missing something, because for you it is.<\/p>\n

Get the strength right first<\/h2>\n

Tobacco flavours are usually vaped at a higher nicotine strength than fruit, because the people buying them have just stopped smoking. That combination \u2014 a dry flavour and a strong throat hit \u2014 is what people describe as “harsh”.<\/p>\n

Two things worth knowing<\/h2>\n

Tobacco flavours darken fast.<\/strong> The liquid in your tank will go brown within days. That is oxidation and it is completely normal \u2014 it does not mean the liquid has spoiled or the coil is dying.<\/p>\n

They are hard to follow.<\/strong> Tobacco lingers in cotton more than almost anything else. Going from tobacco to a light fruit without changing the coil will taste of neither.<\/p>\n
