What do VG and PG mean, and which should I choose?
VG (vegetable glycerine) is what produces dense vapour and a thicker liquid, while PG (propylene glycol) carries the flavour and provides the throat hit. 70VG/30PG or higher suits vape devices because it gives dense vapour and resists leaking; 50/50 is thinner, wicks faster and suits small pods.
Why has my e-liquid turned dark?
Darkening is a normal process called oxidation, caused by exposure to air, light or heat, and it happens faster in tobacco, custard and heavily sweetened flavours. Colour change alone does not mean the liquid has gone bad, but if the taste has genuinely changed or it smells sharp, do not use it. Keep the bottle closed somewhere cool and dry, out of the sun.
How long does e-liquid keep after opening?
An unopened bottle usually keeps for one to two years from the production date. Once opened, use it within about six months to keep the flavour at full strength, and close the cap tightly after every use. Never leave a bottle in a car or in direct sunlight — heat degrades both the flavour and the nicotine.
