What do VG and PG mean, and which should I choose?

Why has my e-liquid turned dark?
Darkening is a normal process called oxidation, caused by exposure to air, light or heat, and it happens faster in tobacco, custard and heavily sweetened flavours. Colour change alone does not mean the liquid has gone bad, but if the taste has genuinely changed or it smells sharp, do not use it. Keep the bottle closed somewhere cool and dry, out of the sun.

An unopened bottle usually keeps for one to two years from the production date. Once opened, use it within about six months to keep the flavour at full strength, and close the cap tightly after every use.
