Nicotine Pouches in Kuwait: ZYN vs VELO vs DZRT

By /

Last reviewed: October 2026

In short: nicotine pouches are small white pouches with no tobacco leaf that sit between your lip and gum — no smoke, no vapour, no charging. In Kuwait three brands cover most demand: ZYN from Sweden, VELO from British American Tobacco and DZRT from Saudi Arabia. This guide compares them by strength, flavour and pouch size, and tells you where to start.

What are nicotine pouches?

Each pouch holds nicotine, plant-based fibres and flavouring, with no tobacco leaf, which is why it is white and differs from traditional snus. You place one under your upper lip, feel a light tingle in the first minute, and the flavour and nicotine then last 20 to 45 minutes depending on the brand and strength.

There is no device, coil or battery, so pouches suit long work days or meetings where vaping is not an option. The number on the can is the nicotine per pouch in milligrams.

How to choose a strength

Strength Who it suits Examples in stock
3 mg Your first time with nicotine ZYN Cool Mint Mini, DZRT Purple Mist
6 mg The starting point for most people ZYN Black Cherry and Coffee, VELO Strawberry Ice, DZRT Tamra
7–10 mg Medium-strong, if you have used pouches before DZRT Seaside Frost, VELO Ruby Berry
11–17 mg Strong, for regular high-nicotine users only ZYN Cool Mint 11, ZYN Menthol Ice, VELO Freeze Max

Our standing advice: start at 6 mg, even if you vape at a high strength. A pouch delivers nicotine differently from a vape, and starting too strong is an uncomfortable first experience.
