To get the best vaping experience and a smooth draw from pod systems, and to extend pod lifespan, follow this short guide:
Initial setup steps
- Make sure the pod is properly seated and firmly installed in the battery device.
- Fill the pod only with salt nicotine e-liquid, without exceeding the maximum fill line.
- Close the pod securely and wait 5 to 10 minutes to allow the cotton to fully saturate and avoid immediate burning.
Proper draw technique
- Use slow and gentle draws (similar to a traditional cigarette), and avoid strong or sudden inhaling.
- Leave a short pause between puffs and avoid chain vaping, allowing the device to cool slightly.
Suitable E-Liquid Type (Salt Nic)
- These devices are specifically designed to work efficiently with "Salt Nicotine" flavors.
- Avoid using high-wattage "Freebase" shisha flavors, as they may not provide the desired nicotine satisfaction and could cause premature failure of small coils.
E-Liquid Density (VG/PG)
- Salt Nic flavors usually come in a balanced ratio (50VG/50PG).
- This thinner consistency allows the cotton inside small pods to absorb the liquid quickly, giving you a saturated draw and protecting the coil from burning (Dry Hit).

How do I stop the pod leaking?
Make sure the rubber stopper is closed firmly after every refill. Avoid very hard puffs — these devices are designed for a gentle draw, and pulling hard can force liquid out of place. If a leak does happen, dry the contact points under the pod with a dry tissue to protect the device sensors.
How do I look after the battery and charge it correctly?
Use low-voltage power sources such as a laptop port or a car charger, and stay away from fast phone chargers. If charging stops, check the USB port is free of dust and debris. A light that flashes when you puff usually means the battery is empty or the pod is not seated properly.
What causes weak performance or a burnt taste?
Weak performance or a burnt taste usually means the coil or pod has reached the end of its life and needs replacing. Running the device while the pod is nearly empty burns the cotton immediately, so keep an eye on the liquid level.
What do I need to use Argus G3?
If Argus G3 is a refillable pod, it runs on salt nicotine e-liquid specifically — you will find it in our SaltNic E-Liquids range — and over time you will need replacement pods or coils that match the model, from Pods & Coils. Closed systems run only on their factory-filled pods. Do not use freebase e-liquid in pod devices.
