To keep the flavour clean and stop the cotton burning out early, follow these fitting and maintenance steps carefully:
Fitting a new coil
- Seat the coil firmly in place so there are no gaps that could let liquid leak past it.
- After filling the pod, wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping. This step is essential — it lets the cotton saturate and prevents an immediate burnt hit.
When to replace the coil
- When you notice a burnt taste or a clear change in the usual flavour.
- If the draw becomes muted or vapour density drops noticeably.
- As a rule of thumb a coil lasts one to two weeks, depending on how heavily you vape and how sweet the e-liquid is.

How long does a coil last and how do I know it is finished?
A coil usually lasts one to two weeks depending on how heavily you vape. The clearest sign it is finished is a burnt taste or an obvious change in flavour, often alongside less vapour or a tighter draw. Sweet and dark flavours wear a coil out faster than light ones.
Why did my new coil burn on the first puff?
The most common reason is not waiting after filling. Once the coil is fitted and the pod is filled, wait 5 to 10 minutes so the cotton can saturate fully before the first puff. The second reason is running the device above the wattage range printed on the coil, and the third is chain-vaping without a pause between puffs.
How do I find the right coil or pod for my device?
Every device takes a specific coil or pod number and nothing else will work; the number is printed on the device box and on the coil itself. Do not go by shape — similar-looking sizes can be electrically incompatible. Send us your device name and model on WhatsApp and we will identify the correct genuine coil.
What do I need to use Coils Twister 30W?
First make sure Coils Twister 30W matches your device model by its number, not its shape. The e-liquid then depends on the device: pod devices from Pod System use salt nicotine from SaltNic E-Liquids, and vape devices from Vape Devices use freebase from Freebase E-Liquids.
