In short: most disappointing e-shisha purchases come down to the same five things going unchecked. None of them takes more than a minute to ask about, and all five are worth more than the price difference between shops.
1. Refillable or disposable?
This is the first fork, and it decides everything after it.
- Disposable e-shisha — arrives charged and filled, used until it stops. No setup, highest cost per day. See disposables.

If you are buying your first one to see whether you like it, a disposable is a reasonable way in. If you already know you will keep using it, a refillable pays for itself quickly.
2. What resistance is the coil?
The number printed on the coil decides which liquid the device needs — and buying the wrong liquid is the most common wasted purchase.
- Below 1.0Ω → sub-ohm, direct-to-lung, needs freebase at 3–6 mg
- Above 1.0Ω → mouth-to-lung, needs salt nic at 20–50 mg

3. Are replacement coils actually stocked here?
The one that catches people out. A device is only as good as the availability of its coils, and an imported model whose coils nobody in Kuwait carries becomes disposable the moment the first one wears out.
Ask before you buy: “are the coils for this in stock, and how often do you get them?” A device with locally stocked coils is worth more than a slightly better one without. Browse the coils we carry.
4. Is it genuine?
Counterfeits exist in this category and they are not a cosmetic problem — the battery and charging circuit are where corners get cut.
Signs worth noticing: packaging that does not scan or verify, printing that is off-centre or misspelt, a price far below everyone else, and a seller who cannot say where it came from. If a shop is unwilling to answer that last question directly, that is your answer.
5. Will anyone help you afterwards?
The first week is when questions come up: which liquid, what wattage, why does it taste like that, is this normal. A shop that answers a message on a Friday night is worth considerably more than one that is two dinars cheaper.
